Statement of Faith

1.  I believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God.

2.  I believe that there is one God who exists in three persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3.  I believe that all men are fallen and sinful by nature and all are by nature lost and under God's condemnation.  I believe that a person must repent of the sin of rejecting Christ and accept His free gift of salvation in order to be freed from condemnation.

4.  I believe that once a person has received this free gift of salvation, this person can never lose that salvation.

5.  I believe the church is the only organization Christ left behind to carry on His work and all ministries and organizations should be tied to a local church.  As such, believers should also be have their affiliation with and ministries in a local church.

6.  I believe that there are only two ordinances given in the Bible: communion and baptism.  Neither of these are required for salvation but are demonstrations of a person's love and obedience to Christ.

7.  I believe that we are stewards of all that God has given to us, including our lives, wealth, children, and surroundings.  We should manage all of these with the view that they have been given to us by God and that we should manage them to bring glory to God.

8.  I believe that Jesus is coming again, first to receive His saints, but man cannot know when that time is.  Seven years later, I believe that He will come back to set up a 1,000 year reign upon this earth.  Before this begins, God will sentence those who have rejected His Son, either actively or passively, to an eternity in Hell.  God will then allow only those who have accepted His Son as Savior to enter the 1,000 kingdom.

9.  I believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, without which He could not have been sinless and could not be the perfect sacrifice for out sins.
